What will 2010 be like?

 

Across the Interiors market, the experiences during the recession have varied quite a bit, but very few have found things easy. Having to work much harder has been a frequent remark. There is no doubt that demand is not going to spring back to life overnight but the general feeling is that business can now start to recover and grow from what is a smaller market.  However, there will be many new opportunities and there has never been a better time for the collective support of TMG.

 

Why TMG is important?

 

For those who want to engage we give help freely. There are members who do this and have gained an advantage and you may already have experienced this. We try all the time to create initiatives that are often difficult for individual members to implement and a collective approach in difficult market conditions can be very beneficial.

 

Purchasing

Whether it’s a new product you’re after or recycling/reuse facility complete with an excellent price structure  – Manndate has the answer. We have all the information at our fingertips – let us show you how stress-free our services can be.

  

Membership Fees

Quite simply – there are none!

 

In 2009, Manndate was allowed to drop our administration fee, which had been imposed on us by the manufacturing community at start-up in 2003, as Manndate was not retail.

Personal Visits

TMG  has always believed that understanding your business on a personal level is the key to a successful partnership.  With this in mind, we will be stepping up on our personal visits through 2010 to ensure that both parties are fully aware of each other’s role in the Manndate relationship.  By understanding your business and the issues you face we can make plans for new initiatives and services and improve the ones that we already have. It also provides an opportunity to give advice about potential opportunities in developing sales or to engage with other members in various activities. The Matchmaker process is a good example where we have had success in bringing members together.

Monthly Newsflash

Deciding how to manage your business is greatly enhanced by having the best possible information. TMG monthly newsflash has been revamped for 2010.   This represents 180 hours of research a year and is free as part of your membership of TMG.

 

The On-Line Members Directory

Our database of suppliers is constantly being updated.  All suppliers have to abide by TMG Code of Conduct. 2010 brings new suppliers from Europe; lines from fabrics – furniture have been sourced for exclusive distribution through Canada for TMG.  More of this in our next newsletter – if you cannot wait – give us a call for a peek preview.

Overseas Markets and Globalisation

The Interior Design market is a global community – we have designers working on projects for example from Canada, Europe, US, Middle East, etc.  You can be part of this global community by working with TMG and its associates.
